No, nicknames will not transfer automatically and must be re-established after the system upgrade. You can re-establish them under "Manage Profile" in online banking or through the mobile app.
All current debit cardholders should receive their new debit card in mid-late August, arriving in an unmarked envelope for security purposes. Activation instructions will be included in the mailing.
In addition to a refreshed design, all newly issued debit cards will include a new debit card number, security code, and expiration date.
You will need to update your new debit card information with any merchants that have your card on file. If you use Spring Bank's current mobile banking app, you can log in and navigate to Cards > Card on File to view a list of merchants storing your card for one-time, recurring, or future purchases.
All debit cardholders will receive their new debit cards in the mail during August. Call 877-965-3344 to activate and start using your new contactless debit card. Follow the prompts to set your Personal Identification Number (PIN). Each new contactless debit card has a new card number, expiration date, and security code.
Yes, Spring Bank debit cardholders can use any ATM to withdraw cash surcharge-free.
You may experience an error when trying to add your debit card to your mobile wallet, such as Google Pay or Apply Pay. However, this is only temporary, and it will link. Please allow up to 24 hours for it to connect.
No, there are no changes to Spring Bank business credit cards
All bill pay information will be transferred to the new system with the exception of eBills* which will need to be re-entered.
* An eBill (electronic bill) in online banking is a digital version of a paper bill that you can receive and pay through our online or mobile banking platform. Instead of mailing a physical bill, some payees offer the option to send it electronically directly to your online banking account. An eBill contains the same details as a paper bill but provides a more convenient and secure way to manage your payments.
Yes, your loan payments will be processed as normal after the upgrade according to how you have them set up currently.
You will be able to connect your bank account to third-party financial apps through Plaid. The verification process will be temporarily disconnected during our recent System Upgrade, however it will soon be fully integrated, allowing you to easily link your bank account.
Following the upgrade, statements will feature a refreshed design, but all essential information will remain unchanged.
Consider eStatements – Enrolling in eStatements through online banking gives you quicker access, better security, and reduced paper waste.
Yes, some customer statement cycle dates will change after the upgrade. If your delivery date differs from what it is currently, there’s no need for concern—it’s simply part of the system enhancement.
Please note that all demand deposit and savings account customers received an additional printed statement by mail, reflecting account activity and balances through September 11. This additional statement will be generated before the upgrade, and will be sent out on September 12, via the U.S. Postal Service to the mailing address currently on file.
Yes, you will be able to continue to use your current checks because the routing number will not change.
